When you make a purchase from a local farmer or merchant it is obvious that your spending dollars are staying local, but is that enough? Take the time, when making a service purchase, to investigate your service provider. Many in the local service industry make outrageous claims about their successes. If those providers are really that successful shouldn’t they be chosen to fit your personal strategy? What if you investigated those business to make sure they were as dedicated to investing in their community as you were?
